What a fantastic day!! Thank you so much Dan.This was booked for my birthday and it was just the two of us on the day, what an experience to have all of these different birds land on our hands, to be so close up to these beautiful birds was beyond what I imagined. We were shown several different breeds, ages and sizes of birds and you get to actually spend time with them, to learn about their behaviours and to get to know them.Dan was very informative and clearly passionate about his work which made the day even better.The experience session lasted about 3 hours with a cuppa in the middle. Brilliantly planned out and we've said we will definitely book again, it will be nice to see how the birds have grown, also following on social media so we can follow each of the birds journeys.Highly recommended!!
Purchased a birds of prey photography experience for my father's birthday and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Dan was very knowledgable and you could tell he is very passionate about what he does. My father was given a variety of options when photographing the birds from still photographs to in flight photographs. Thank you so much for this experience! Would definitely do this experience again!
What can I say? Thanks Dan - I had a fantastic experience today. I got to see up close a wide variety of beautiful birds. Plus lots of interesting conversation and a warm cup of tea with Dan, who was very engaging and knowledgeable. You really get an appreciation and respect for these animals and their unique personalities as they fly in to land on your outstretched arm! (Plus a bit of an arm workout for some of the larger ones - looking at at you Eurasian Eagle Owl) Would highly recommend.
My husband and I booked onto the experience as our 2 year wedding anniversary present to each other and it was a absolutely fantastic ! I cannot recommend it enough. We got the chance to fly lots of different birds and it was amazing to see them up close. It was also great because it was just us, so we got more of a chance to enjoy the experience rather than joining a big group as is the case with other falconry centres. Dan was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable on everything and it was a pleasure to hear his expertise and experiences. If you're looking for a good present for someone, a fun thing to do on a weekend or just love birds, then you definitely need to book this experience.
